Mothers who have children with autism between the ages of 4 and 17 years old and parents who have a child with autism and another neurotypical child between the ages of 8-16 years are being sought for research.
Dr. Naomi Ekas of TCU FACES Lab, is part of the Families, Autism, and Child Emotion Studies Lab at Texas Christian University! They are starting some exciting new research projects at TCU, in which they study the experiences of families of children with an autism spectrum disorder.
The success of their research depends, in part, on the ability to recruit a large number of families who are willing to share their time with them.
Attached to this email are electronic copies of the informational flyer for your to review and distribute to families. As a matter of procedure, the flyer has been approved by the Institutional Review Board at Texas Christian University.
They are currently recruiting for two online studies. They are looking for mothers who have children with autism between the ages of 4 and 17 years old for an online study and they are also recruiting parents who have a child with autism and another neurotypical child between the ages of 8-16 years. They will be compensating parents for their time. Please see the flyers or visit their Facebook or website for full details:
